i am self employed, i am 5'10 and 315 lbs, i am looking for an insurance company

i'm looking for an insurance company that will cover me, i'm trying to stay away from open-enrollment policies, also i would love to find one that has no exclusion policy for wls. if you have any information i would love to hear from you. i live in the washington,dc area.    — Michelle R. Humana, Choicecare, PPO. They approved me in less than a week. I had to move out of state, though, so I have to get an approval again, but I am fairly confident that I wont have any problems. Call 1-800-558-4444 and see if they can help you. Good luck!

I had CareFirst BlueChoice (a division of BlueCross) They have been excellent to work with. I was approved in 15 days. No significant co-morbs, 5' 8.5" and BMI of 44. The best thing about CareFirst is that you can buy the policy yourself (at least here in the MD & DC area) if you are self-employed, and they roll you into a large group.
