Question:
Looking for a WLS friendly PCP in Longview or Tyler Texas

I'm 28 years old weigh about 450 I have 4 little girls that I'm trying to take care of alone.I can't work becauseI can't stand up on my feet for long periods of time anyway I went to a local doctor, and the only thing that he can find is my being overweight. I had an appointment with Texas Rehab and I need to have another disability before they can help me.I also need a doctor to recommend me to see someone to take some tests to see if I have a sleep disorder. I can tell you the name of a doctor not to go to - Longview Internal Medicine on Loop 281. I informed the doctor of my intentions and received a Meridia salespitch on more than one occasion, along with his disapproval. (I did not need a referral) There is a clinic in Jefferson (I knw that is a long drive) that is very reasonable and would have given me a referral had I needed one - the Glenn-Garrett Clinic. They are very helpful and did not give me a hard time about my weight.
