Question:
I was exercising but haven't in a month what should I do to give me the best results?

I was doing some weight trainning at the YMCA for 45 minutes and doing the airdyne for 5 miles wasn't loosing inches very well at all then the weather turned bad and I haven't been in three weeks. This month is a new month and I want results we are planning a trip to the beach in three short months and I am still in a 22 I want to be much smaller by our trip what is the best exercise's to do to get good results? I've read a little about the body for life but don't really know what to do for the exercising can someone help. Hi Alicia! Congrats on your loss so far, you're doing great! I recommend mixing up your exercises. You need an aerobic exercise (fatburning or cardio) to do regularly as well as weight-lifting -- I think both are good to do. Try mixing up your exercises -- stairmaster, elliptical machine (is that the same as aerodyne?), treadmill, cycling, etc. -- try all the machines at your Y, gradually, and then challenge yourself to do a little more on them each week. For instance, cycle on Monday, treadmill & weights on Wednesday, aerodyne on Friday, treadmill & weights on Saturday, or some such schedule that mixes it up. Good luck!
