Question:
I have read before that there is a web site pertaining to post ops

Can anyone give me the address to the web site that contains the term "graduate".....or something similar that deals with post ops that have been out for over a year??? thanks    — Patwa (posted on March 12, 2005)

Go to the Yahoo Groups and then look up "Graduate-OSSG". I'm not a year out yet but I'm a member of the group. I just lurk and learn lots of information. It's a good group. There is another group called "OSSG-Off-Track" and it's for people who have gotten off-track with their weight loss and what they are doing to get back on track. They have lots of good information too if you want to join it and lurk around. Lynn H.

Thanks guys!!! This is exactly what I was looking for!! I am a year and a half out and really struggling....haven't lost for several months. I have lost about 140, need to lose another 50 or so. I feel so wonderful, have boundless energy, am off all diabetes meds, as well as Zocor and most BP meds. My problem is that family and friends seem to think that I should still be getting smaller. I was over 350 for a long time, I'm 52 years old, and would be content to get the tummy tuck and enjoy life. My butt and legs are about a size 12-14, but my stomach puts me in a stretchy 18-20 and the pants hang in the butt and legs. I feel like I need to wear a badge with a picture of the old me in it so folks could remember how I used to look, and then maybe they would understand. Oh well, just venting. thanks patti

And usually, if you have a burning question that you'd like to see answered, ask a Grad who is also here and we will ask it for you.
