Hi. This week we will be in Memphis TN at the ASBS meeting. One of our goals there is to show bariatric surgeons their profiles on the site. I need your help with this. My goal in creating this site was to enable people to post both good and bad comments about their surgeons. None of these comments are ever edited by ObesityHelp.com. As the number of posters grows, these comments should form an increasingly useful representation of the surgeon. We would like your help in knowing what to expect as we are handing out testimonial sheets. Please help us flag any particularly negative comments so we can be better prepared. If you want to help, here's how : 1) Read the responses below to see what states have already been covered. 2) Pick one or more states not yet covered. 3) Go through every surgeon listed in those states -- under the "find a doc", "browse the list" section, reading the testimonials for those docs. 4) If you find any particuarly negative comments, then record the name of the surgeon and date that those comments were made. 5) Once done, share your findings. Reply to this question by posting your findings as follows: At the top of your message, list the states you covered ex: "AL,AZ,AK". If no strongly negative comments were found, simply post "all clear." For all other cases, simply list the name of the surgeon, followed in parenthesis by the date of the strongly negative comment. Don't post the comment itself. Just the surgeon name and the date of the comment. We won't edit any of these. It would be useful for us, though, to know which, if any, surgeons we might need to take extra care with in order for them to not form an unbalanced opinion of the site. Thanks for your help.
