My surgery is in 2 weeks and I haven't heard it mentioned.

Hi: my surgery was 7/18/02. No blood gas test. Only pre-op tests were gallbladder ultrasound, cardiac clearance, psych evaluation, chest x-ray, and regular blood work. Make sure you don't take any product containing asprin 2 weeks before surgery. I did and had to have my bloodwork redone the day before surgery. Good luck.
