Question:
in general how much can i expect to lose from a tt need input :0]

yes im scheduled to have a full abdominal plasty in april im very excited ,i wanted to hear from people who have had a tt or know of someone who's had one , to know basicaly how many pounds you lose ? i know they remove some fat if any is present and tighten muscles and remove excess skin? any feed back is appreciated!    — angela J. I had a lower body lift in December, and they took off 5 pounds from my stomach from the TT part, and then another 3 pounds from around my hips and back, for a total of 8 pounds.

Angela- I have not had a TT yet..but wanted to know if your insurance was covering the procedure? I will be starting to look into this in the next few months and am hoping for it to be covered. Thanks and good luck!

This depends on alot of things (how big you were, how much you lost, etc) and I've heard everything from a couple of pounds to over 20 pounds have been removed. I had a LBL and breast lift and they removed 7 1/2 pounds of skin. I would say at least 4 or 5 pounds of that was the panni.

I had a TT Jan. 26th and they took 3lbs of skin and sucked out fat(I forgot to ask the #) and tightened my muscles and I gained 10lbs and have lost 6lbs of that from the swelling. I am still swollen a little and have not lost anymore, so I hope it at least goes back to my original weight. Everyone else told me they gained at first and then lost more than what they weighed before the TT. I am happier with my new tummy though! Good luck!

I had a tt and belt lipectomy last August and the Surgeon took off 18 lbs. off of me. What a difference that makes!

Full belt lipectomy and abdominoplasty on Dec. 22, 2003. Surgeon took off 10 lbs. But you are very bloated and swollen for a long time. Still a bit swollen here.

I had TT and medial thigh/butt lift on March 2 and had 10 lbs skin removed. My surgeon also says I will lose about 10 more once swelling is done. Hope that helps. Jennifer

I had a pannus removal and tt along with a hernia repair on 3/28/01 and the surgeon removed about 11 pounds of skin and tissue.

I had an abdominoplasty and lost 5 pounds from it. No fat, just skin. I had no lipo.
