Question:
I am looking for a pre-op support group in or near Dayton, OH.

I don't know if there even is such a thing, but I would love to meet and converse with others who are going through the wait (almost spelled that weight ..lol) pre-surgery anxiety, etc. Thanks for giving so much valuable inforamation on this Q & A board.    — LM O. (posted on August 17, 2002)

Columbus has lots of good support groups. OSU, BTC and Mid Ohio Surgical. Plus, you should just check out some post-op people in Ohio and e-mail them. You'll find the majority of people to be very helpful with any questions you have. Please feel free to e-mail with any questions you have. Good luck!!

Hi Lynn, I am going thru the same thing, My insurance co requires 5 months pre-op education along with multiple other requirements. Sometimes the anxiety gets so great I want to puke. I have nausea most days even though I am not consciously dwelling on it. Feel free to write me. Donna
