Question:
Has anyone over 55 had Dr. Boone, Fresno for lap GNY?

I am going to assume that you meant RNY and not a hystie or any other female type surgery. Yes, I am over 55 and had my lap gastric bypass done by Dr. Boone at Clovis Community Hospital. You can find my profile here at obesityhelp.com. I have rather extensive comments regarding my surgery. There are quite a number of people in our support group that were either over or quite close to 55 when they had their surgery. Do you attend our support group meetings at St. Agnes on the first Monday of the month? There is another meeting somewhere are the middle of the month where a group of us get together at a local restaurant, have dinner, and just chat. It's a great time to be able to ask questions in an informal atmosphere. We also have an on line support group. If you are interested in any of these, drop me a line and I'll give you more info.
