Question:
Anyone in upstate NY that has a personal support group that meets.

I live in Sodus,NY and use the Ithaca facility but cannot find anyone who has the lap band to get into or organize a support group with.    — bjkgriffith (posted on August 18, 2003)

Hey there Sodus! Your in my neck of the woods. At one time there was a support group in Rochester (Hennrieta) but I lost track of how to contact them. Perhaps they would know of someplace near you. Don't know. Good luck.

I don't know if you feel like a little drive, but there is a patient-run WLS Support Group that meets at Parkridge Hospital in the cafeteria at 7pm on the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you would like any other information about it, feel free to email me at [email protected] They are a really great group of people! Very friendly, and always so informative!
