Question:
What can a person like me do when my insurance carrier is through the goverment

I am on a fixed income and i have health care through a company that is contracted by the State of Ohio. they have told me on the phone that they do approve the surgery but has denied me twice. I will post this hope it will help anyone with insurance denials. http://info.insure.com/health/lawtool.cfm a site that adives you the laws on any type insurace , health , life etc. it tells you the laws or each state and external reviews for denial. also the insurance commissioners address for each state. yes.. you can take your insurance denial to an external board MADE UP OF DOCTORS NOT INSURANCE PEOPLE to determine your case for wls. hope this helps.
