Question:
Is anyone else getting 4-5 copies of the same email?
Recently I have been getting 4 or 5 copies of the same email. Is this only happening to me or is there anyone else having the same problem? If you have any solutions for this problelm please email me. I have 40-50 emails from this list everytime I check. Mostly duplicate emails. Mary skinner — mary S. (posted on October 15, 1999)

I think I may have the answer to your question. When I first posted a
question and clicked on the icon
to post it a message came up on my screen telling the `publisher` could not
be reached. I was not going to `give up` so tried three more times.
Finally a message came up telling me my question has been added. Little did
I know that it had been added FOUR times! I posted
another question after that thought
I had only entered it once but lo and behold... it was on twice. (I`m
getting better) Hopefully this message will be added only ONCE !
The same thing happened when I registered on this website, my name is on
twice and I don`t know how to change that. If anyone has that answer please
let me know.

Mary, I have asked several questions since I first became a member of this
site and I am on webtv. For some reason, if it is busy and I enter a
question, the system will hang up and stay on the entry sreen for a long
time. I try to escape and it ends up entering the question multiple times.
I have tried to just leave it but it still enters more than once. I'm not
sure that everyone is having the same problem but I can't correct
mine....sorry for the inconvenience. I try not to ask questions now when
it is real busy.

Yes, I am!!! ... This has been happening since day one! I personally think
what is happening is that some people don't think their post has gone thru,
so they hit the back button and send it again and again and again ... I
also noticed one person apparently rewrote her post several times, (only
because the wording was slightly different on each one, but it was from the
same person and precisely the same question) ... I just deleted 6 copies,
of one I received this morning. People ... please only hit send ONCE!!!
You'll get a screen that says something to the effect of "Thank you
for your Question..." Sometimes it takes a few extra seconds if the
net is super busy. Thanks! :)

I too am having many of the same emails. mostly from Obesityhelp.com
questions..

Yes Mary, I also get multiple copies of the same emails. I have contacted
Eric several times about this and had to make my hotmail account for this
site only. If you find a solution to this problem please let me know. I
have not found a way to correct it yet.
