Question:
Have a bmi of 36 with few comorbids. What are my chances of approval?

My comorbids are mild hypertension, incontinence, chronic low back pain, depression (do I have sleep apnea if I snore?) My ins requires over 35 with comorbids. What are my chances?    — Julie P. (posted on June 15, 2001)

My surgeon won't even see patients if they have a BMI under 40. I guess it all depends on the surgeon and your insurance.
