Insurance question

I am having to pay for all the test in order to be approved for the surgery. Should I submit A letter to the insurance company to recives prior approval before my Doctor. I had to pay for the psych eval. private Dr.eval and most possibly the cardiologist. My insurance covered the ultrasound and blood work, all I have is my 20 % copay. Check your insurance book to see what is automaticly covered and then you have a better idea. Or just give them a call
