I am 3 days post op. They put my tube and catheter in while I was asleep. I don't remember a thing about the tube going in. My throat is still a bit scratchy from it, but that is the only thing I can say about it. If no one had told me they were going to put it in.. I never would have even known. Good luck to you and don't let the little things like this scare you. I did and now can honestly tell you there's nothing to be scared or worry about.
