Question:
Should I call BCBC again to check approval?

I called BCBS several days ago and they said they received my info on Nov. 6 and planned to take 30 days to reach a decision. Has anyone ever heard this? Should I call often to check approval or wait until Dec. 6? I have an appt. with my internist on Nov. 22 to clear me for surgery, other than that I've completed all my pre-op tests. I would appreciate any advice, particularly from those who have dealt with BCBS of Alabama.    — Alicia K. (posted on November 13, 2002)
