Question:
BC/BS Group 13000 or 30000

Has anyone been appreoved that has BC/BS Group 13000 or 30000 for Alabama State Employees?    — cg_williamson (posted on August 16, 2003)

I have this type of insurance and I was approved. In fact my surgery is scheduled for this Thursday. I was denied the first time. All I had to do was re send the info showing that I had been under physician supervised weight loss plan for 26 weeks in the last year and at least one other onw with this same length that did not have to be supervised by a physician in the last year. I was approived in less than a week after they received the additional information. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I will try to help you as best I can. Good luck.

Hey, I'm a state employee and was covered after the first letter, of course that was in Feb, 2002. I have several friends and coworkers who have since been approved though they had to jump through more hoops. They'll also cover tummy tuck..I had mine in April of this year. I had my legs done as well but this I had to pay for myself. Good luck!!
