Question:
How long after a TT and lower body lift do you have to wait to have sex?

My PS doesn't know this but what he doesn't know won't hurt him - 5 days.
I hurt like hell but I was horny as hell. I wanted to try out my new body.
LOL My boyfriend was so scared and kept asking me if I was sure. I was
sure - 5 drains and all. However, after that it was like another week as I
was just too wiped out. Then he went on vacation. I don't necessarily
recommend my approach. The doc never said anything about no sex, so I used
my judgement. Maybe not my best judgement though!

I am having a LBL on May 11th, 5 days NO WAY IN HELL! I asked, its like a
month, 4 weeks, same as exercise!!!! Its safer to have sex after gastric
bypass than PS, think about it...PS is external and RNY is Internal.

I was told to wait 6 weeks after my abdominoplasty. I made it 5 weeks.
But it did hurt.

Drains still in??? You animal! Hee hee!!!!! I waited about 2 weeks after
surgery or slightly less. It was after 3 weeks before I could have any
weight on top of me so we were a bit creative. I had my TT on 2/27 and all
is back to normal now. I would just go by what feels right or what your
doctor says.

I can't remember exactly, but it was awhile, and it HURT. How to put this
delicately.... with a LBL, it's difficult to find a position that doesn't
put you on an incision. There are other alternatives, but I found that
they generally will involve muscles that are sore as well, so it's a bit
complicated.

Being 5 days post op tummy tuck, hernia repair and arm lift, the LAST thing
I want to do is have sex...or laugh, sneeze, bend or put clothes on. When
I had my RNY, I waited 4 weeks I think. Just becareful. It may not be
easy to get out of a position once the pain hits.

I think I was about a week post-op and I had to be VERY careful b/c I also
had a pubic lift with my tt and it hurt, so I had to wait another week
before trying again. I also did this after my open rny. Good luck!

If there's a will there's a way! Nice comfy pillow under the back incision
worked for me. Like I said, not for everyone. Heck when I left the
hospital 2 days earlier I didn't think I every wanted to be touched again,
but the hormones ruled!
