Question:
Anyone else having troub. finding the Vanilla Sugar Free Carnation
Ive been to every grocery store in Chester Va and Wal Mart..they have the chocolate but no Sugar Free Carnation Vanilla Instant BF? Anyone know what the story is? — Jackiis (posted on September 12, 2002)

I had exactly the same problem. I live in Gettysburg, PA and I went to our
local grocery store and asked them to special order it for me. They
ordered a case and I bought half. I just explained to them that I was
having surgery and was not going to be able to eat for some time. They
were very helpful. Also, I have heard that you can order it from the
company. There is an 800 number on the box. By the way, I had my surgery
on August 12 and while I was in the hospital, they gave me Strawberry and
Chocolate Malt SF. They were awesome. Good Luck in your search.

If you go to the website for CIB there is a store locator where you type in
your zip code and they will tell you which stores in your area sell it. I
have no problem finding vanilla but never found strawberry! When you make
your CIB consider adding 1/3 cup nonfat milk powder to your shake. It
boosts the protein up to 20g per serving and doesn't change the flavor at

I bought mine at Meyer's. You may want to try Vanilla Alba, it's comparable
to CIB, you can get Alba at Krogers. Go to the Carnation Instant Breakfast
website and you can do a search to find out where to buy the CIB locally,
that's what I ended up doing. Good luck!

My local grocery store has it in Oklahoma. I would say just to try to keep
looking. You may also go to the manager of the stores and ask them if they
can start carrying it.
