Question:
Where can I find Nixion??

Last night I went to Wal-mart and tried to look for Nixion shampoo. Is Nixion a active ingredient in a certain shampoo or is this the name of it? I was unable to find it. Am i looking in the wrong place? do i need a beauty supply store or where can I find it? — cmontoya324 (posted on September 26, 2003)

I believe the shampoo and products you're looking for is NIOXIN; that's the name of the product. I have heard that they're carried at JC Penny's Salons; I'm not sure where else they're carried. I don't think you'll find it at any retail store; only in salons. You may want to call some salons in your area to see if they carry it. Hope this helps!

You need to go to a beauty salon, if they don't have it in stock, most will order it for you. There are several steps to use, they can help you find the ones that will work best (it can be very expensive for the whole works, but find what you can get by with) Nioxxin did not stop my hair loss, but a few of my freind had really good results from using it. Good luck

The gal that cuts my hair, had a open rny two years ago, and she used Biolage shampoo and conditioner, you can get it at Cost Cutters, and they have it on sale for 50% off this month, I am 7 weeks post-op and have been using it since I got home from the hospital, it is fantastic. I am not sure of all of the ingrediants, but it makes your scalp tingle and I have new baby hairs all over my head.

Many beauty salons carry it. I've seen it at the salon inside my local Wal-Mart, but never on the general shampoo shelves.

http://www.nioxin.com/

There is a store locator on the site. JC Pennys salons carry the product. Be sure to read the labels. The scalp treatment has a warning that it can cause redness on the scalp. My beautican recommends the Nioxin product.s
