Question:
breast implant info

i'm going to have an arm lift done in feb.2005 with the incision in the armpit only. my breasts are gone since having wls. i went from a 46-c to a 32-a/b. they are just empty. i'm really thinking about getting implants when i have the arm lift done. i would like to know if anyone has had these two things together and what it was like. i would also like to know from people who have had implants without the breast lift. how long did you hurt? how long did it take you to feel "normal"? when you feel your breast do you feel the implant? anything that you could tell me would help alot.    — franbvan (posted on June 11, 2004)

Fran, haven't had any plastics yet but am considering! Just wanted to mention that over at yahoo groups, they have an OSSG group just for plastics that you may want to post the same question to...I'd be interested in hearing more about your upcoming armpit only incision. I've seen pics of the full brachioplasty and its not pretty. What determines whether the surgeon does an armpit incision or the full arm? Surgeon experience/preference, or the amount of hang? Are the results the same or less so?

Hi! I didn't have an arm lift, but I did have a breastlift with implants. I went from a nothing, barly an A, to a D. I LOVE THEM!!!!!I recomend this to anyone. I feel so much better now. I can wear a bathing suit without looking like a 10yr old up top. The pain, I had an extended TT with my lift/implants, and my insision is 360 degrees around. The breasts were NOTHING! I can tell you that I felt like I forgot to NURSE a baby for hours. They seemed soooooooo full. My arms hit the sides. They even tingled like milk letting down. For about 2-3 weeks I felt like that. Ask your PS if he can do your implants thru your armpit...some will some wont
