here's what I am looking forward to....
Cheryl C.- What a great idea you have! Let me share my dream outfit with you all. Believe it or not I just want to be able to wear a pair of button-fly Levis and a t-shirt. I don't want to have to worry about my t-shirt being too short, bunched up over my butt or my stomach protruding. I don't want to even think about my "back fat" being visible through a t-shirt or my bra folding over on itself. And I don't want to have to wear stretch jeans ever again!!!!! As far as the activity I am looking forward to, well, honestly that would have to be SEX! Just imagine the possibilites! :) ok- it's someone else's turn! Michelle Bennett — MICHELLE B. Cheryl, believe it or not - as I know most of you are much younger than me,
but it will be, even this old lady, a joy to have sex again. I am
currently married to my second husband - will be 11 years next spring.
Three years after we were married, I contracted Graves Disease and I have
been on disability, ill and increasingly becoming morbidly obese. I
stopped smoking in 1992 - and haven't had a well day since. Again, I wish
to you thank you Cheryl for this wonderful idea. It got our thinking back
on track and it seems that everyone has been so uplifted. You have done
your good deed!

Awesome Idea---I never gave it much thought about what I could be wearing
when I got thin. Now I do, and to just be able to pass up the fat section
at the stores, makes me happy.
But I would love to wear a bathing suit and not have an oversized shirt
over it, to hide behind. (hehe, like that really worked!) I also want to
hear a strange whistle at me...hehe..
My Activity well that one is easy, besides more sex, I want to sit on a
roller coaster and have the bar sit on my legs, not my belly and to fit in
the seat. I want to go on the rides that my teenagers go on and sit next to
them.
To ride a bike, and to roller Blade.

I haven't had surgery yet and am not sure if insurance is
going to approve it, but, if they do, I too am looking forward
to a nice pair of levi's with a short Tommy Girl t-shirt. I
am also looking forward to putting on a normal size pair of
panty hose without breaking out in a sweat, and wearing a
slinky little dress like my 14 year old daughter wears.
Activities: SEX! yes and lots of it. I also want to do something
really simple. I want to cross my legs like a lady when I
sit in my slinky little dress.

Amen! What I'm looking forward to is wearing something without an elastic
waist, in a colour other than black, in a size other than gargantuan. I
have a pair of Levis (34 waist -- about a size 12/14 I think) from the last
time I was thin (about five minutes in 1990) that I can't wait to get into
again! That. and a nice little tank top with no sleeves, a little black
bra, and underwear that isn't big enough to be confused with the
international symbol for surrender.

Cheryl, you had me laughing out loud with your post!!! Girl, I know how
you feel and EXACTLY what you mean!
My dream casual outfit is a pair of jeans, a midriff top with a sweetheart
neckline, and a pair of loafers. My professional outfit is a fitted suit
with a hemline at or above the knee with heels. My formal outfit is
anything sequinned and sleeveless. A little black dress would be nice,
too. I'm in here somewhere....let me out!

Michelle, good goals, they're like mine. I like your dream outfit alot! I
want to wear something I bought 2 weeks pre-op for incentive and it's
sitting in my closet like a museum piece: a lbd sleeveless tank dress that
hits 2 inches above the knee, donna karan satin opaque black hose, heels
(black), lots of platinum and white gold jewelry. The day the scale reads
140 I'm out the door in that. P.S. I hate back fat too.
