Question:
Does anyone know a pcp in Bradenton, Fl who accepts BC/BS health options and believes

My pcp gave me a refferal but I was denied the first go around. He refuses to give me a letter of medical neccesity. I want to change doctors for other reasons also.    — sugarless47 (posted on November 21, 2000)

Hi Susan I too live in Brad. and I have health options. I've yet to get approval but Dr Rasulo is an endocrinologist and treats diabetes. He is not my PCP and I don't recommend mine as yet because even though he is recommending me for the surgery, he knows very little about it. I'm educating him! But I don't know how helpful he will be down the road dealing with the insurance. I do know that Dr Rasulo is familiar with the surgery an has recommended another woman for the surgery, his idea. If my PCP doesn't come though for me I plan on switching to Dr Rasulo as he has treated me before for my weight. Hopes this helps and keep in touch, we can compare notes. Debi
