Question:
Are there any young people who would like to start a Support group online?

I'd like to join one :) I'm 21. Might I suggest that we start an MSN
community instead of a yahoo group... they are much less confusing and you
can do more with them. Just a suggestion. If you'd like to do Yahoo,
that's ok, too. (I'm a member of both types of communities)

Maybe you've had problems finding people to elaborate because you cut off
young at 25. Us oldies at 28 are just as young as you guys. I can imagine
when I'm 30, will I be a dinosaur? Your age should not matter when it
comes to discussions about WLS. We have ALL been through the emotianla
trauma of being obese, and the issues that go along with surgery.

The question was not intended on making anyone over the age of 25 or under
the age of 18 feel left out. I apologize for making it seem that way.

We are not saying that age matters anonymous and I bet we each speak to all
different ages of people about WLS. It doesn't matter. But people who are
in our age range can give us pre-ops more of an accurate view of what our
recovery and post-op life will be like and we have more common actvities
and lifestyles. I speak to people of all ages about WLS but would like to
learn more about the people my age that are having it and their thoughts
and feelings. That's all we're saying.
