Question:
What to do if military records lost my dependent medical records?

I had the same thing happen about 5 years ago. Fortunately, it never really caused me any trouble. When my husband was still in the Army, the clinic tried to say *I* lost it LOL and I reminded them that I was not allowed to take my medical record with me. After he got out of the Army I thought I would have a lot of trouble with doctors because I essentially had no medical history to show them, but you'd be surprised how easily they believed the military lost my records. The question for you right now is... are they requiring a medical history to approve your surgery? If so, I'd be at the clinic every day telling them they need to find it. Good luck!
