Question:
Gross puke question...

I feel sick to my "big" stomach, not my pouch. Like I need to throw up, but I can't do that anymore, right? I'm 3 weeks post and haven't had any trouble - is this nausea? We still feel sick to our "stomach"? It feels like the flu! To top it off, my pouch hurts too, like it's full, but I only did liquids today and it felt fine this morning.    — jen41766 (posted on August 24, 2002)

yes, you can still feel sick to your "stomach",,,you may have overeaten and it can cause you to feel sick and feel full. even on all liquids, if you drink to fast or too much, same feeling.

You MAY have the flu. ANd yes, you do throw up. I had the same problem the first few months post op. I started on a anti acid pill, like prilosec, or prevacid. IT helped lots. SOme [people continue to have problems with the acid the "old" stomach continues to make. Talk to your doc.
