Recovery, Open RNY & Gallbladder Removal

Funny, I just responded to another one of these!!
Had Open RNY w/gallbladder removal, 5 days in hosp, 5 at home, back to work
on 11th day!

I had open RNY w/gallbladder removal and was in the hospital for 4 days. I
don't think having the gallbladder out makes a difference in the way you
will feel. Good luck with yours!

My lap surgery had to be converted to an open RNY with gallbladder removal.
I have found this surgery was much harder on me than my complete hysteromy
(SP?.. just listen to your body...everyone has different experiences....

I was in the hospital 4 days. I had my gall bladder, appendex, gastric
bypass, and a very large (8.5 lb) ovarian cyst removed.Went back to work in
6 weeks, though I could have gone back earlier. This was 9 months ago and
now I don't feel like I ever had surgery.
