Question:
Anyone have an increase of headaches at 4 months Post op?

I was suffering from migraines before surgery, and was on medication to get them under control. Stopped taking the meds after surgery (the pills were huge), and seemed to be ok with just taking imatrex. BUT in the past two weeks or so, I have a headache almost every day again. I had really bad headaches around this time as well. I never had headaches until then though. I spoke with my surgeon and she suggested maybe I had a food allergy before but just wasn't noticeable until now and to monitor what i am eating and what triggers them. I had been eating a small bag of cheese its for snacks every day around 10 am they have about 6 gr. of protein adn thought I was making a healthy choice when I wasn't able to pack a snack, it didn't take me long to realize that this is what was bringing on my headaches. keep a food diary. Hope this helps

I agree with Sherry on this one...food can often trigger headaches. If it's not that, you may have some spinal issues going on...do you see a chiropractor? I found that as my weight went down and shifted around that my neck became aggravated and headaches came on. If you are against chiropractors, I'd suggest seeing a message therapist and see if that helps.
