Question:
where can i find a place that could tell me what i can expect to lose?

I heard about a place where i could go to find out what i can expect to lose. I am 3 months out and would like to know if i am doing okay in the losing department. any help is greatly appreicated>    — C. L. (posted on September 16, 2001)

Go to the main page then scroll down and look for "BMI Calculator" on the left. Then you put in your weight and what you expect to lose. Just an aside -- I'm down 58 pounds since the end of June and my chart says I should be down more by now. It is just an estimate so don't let it get you down if you're not where you're supposed to be.

I had open RNY August 27, 2001. I am three weeks post-op tomorrow. My surgeon said expect 60lbs. in 3 months, 90lbs. in 6 months, and 120 lbs. However, like the previous person said this is only an estimate. By the way since August 27, 01 I am down 23 lbs. Good luck!
