Question:
I am so desperate...can't find these anywhere!!!

My surgery is in 3 weeks and starting 2 weeks prior to surgery I have to start taking Bugs Bunny Sugar Free Chewable Vitamins per my doctor's orders! Problem is, I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!! I called CVS, I called Rite Aid, I called Walgreens, I called GNC and none of them carry it! I will be taking them post-op too..that's if I ever find out where to get them! I am desperate. I want to follow doctor's orders to the T. Please, anyone who can help me I'd so much appreciate it.Thanks!    — Samar M. (posted on August 15, 2002)

Perhaps your surgeon's office staff would know where you could get them as others may be calling there too. If not, ask if Flintstone's chewables are ok to take. Thats what my surgeon asks his patients to take. Good luck!

Flintstone's Complete chewables are the same thing. I still take them, 3 years out as of 8/11.

I found them at Walmart when I was an early post op. They compared to Flintstones, except I think they were a little higher in sugar if I remember correctly. Good luck! -Kim open RNY 7/17/01 -122

I took flinstones because the others had more sugar, anyway I got them at Target.

Samar, ask your doctor if you can take the Flintstones Complete Chewables-they have no sugar also. I still take 2 a day because I like the taste-6 months post-op.

I also learned by reading the label that Centrum chewables (adult) have the same ingredients/proportions as my kids' children's vitamins. I don't see major differences between the kids' vitamins either.
