Can any please help me find a surgery friendly Dr in NC

i am looking departely for a PCP the is open and accepting of the weight loss surgery. I have found all of the surgeon info and even met with a surgeon but i have to have a referal to the surgeon HELP!!!!!!PLEASE    — ivory1974 (posted on September 18, 2002)

I was referred by Susan Woolard, FNP with Dr Schultzaberger at Physicians East in greenville, NC. They are very supportive of this surgery.

Where do you live? My PCP was very open to the surgery. Dr.Ulrika Stenhammer in Sylva, NC (extreme WNC - 50 miles SW of Asheville). Good luck!

Hi Natalie! My PCP is Dr. Christopher Chao at Lillington Family Medical Center about 25 minutes north of Fayetteville. He wasn't my referring PCP but he has been super supportive and even helped and was supportive of my decision to have a panniculetomy. His assistance and support helped get me approved. Good Luck!
