Question:
I'm 4 days post-op, lap RNY. How long does it take for the swelling to go down?

My guess is the swelling is from all the fluids they have pumped into you by IV's. About the 5day out, the swelling started to go down. You will it will be rapid, once it starts......good luck

My swelling took about 2 weeks to go down.
