Question:
will having ulcers keep you from qualifing for wls

Not as a matter of course, no. I had them in the duodenum and at the base of the esophagus. Well, all over. Nowadays, they test for h.pylori & I believe they want that cleared up pre-op, if positive. Back in the olden days, no test. But when I was tested a few years postie, it was negative. Still, I had ulcers & the tendency to form the is still there, BUT we know it and are on top of it at first sign.
