Question:
I'M APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't have a question really...just wanted to share my exciting news! To back it up a bit, I got a letter from Cigna yesterday telling me that they were upholding the original denial. They said it was because I didn't meet their criteria of having at least 2 diet attempts that were 26 weeks in duration each. I couldn't believe my eyes!! My ORIGINAL denial said that I hadn't met their criteria of not having at least 3 diet attempts of 12 weeks each. So, I'm thinking which is it?? Anyway, apparently, they have changed their criteria again and it went into effect this last November and they were making their decision based on that. But, the rep I have been dealing with said she was going to talk to them today (she told me this on the phone yesterday) and see what she could do. Well...she called back with an APPROVED and I'm just so beside myself I hardly know what to do! LOL Another thing...while I've been waiting, I've done a fair amount of research here (haven't we all?) and just wanted to say "thanks" for all the wonderful information!
