Question:
Heard UCLA was ending its Bariatric program .. Is it True?

At a recent WLS seminar I heard that ULCA was no longer doing or had decided to end the WLS program. Does anyone know if this is true? I searched the News sites for any press releases on the subject but I found nothing. If it is true then why? Do they know something we should know?    — Karon G. (posted on May 1, 2003)

I am having MY surgery at UCLA (Santa Monica) June 11. I haven't heard anything about them discontinuing that program...Why don't U call and ask (310) 8258362.

Mine is scheduled for June 4th w/ Dr. Hines. I'm not sure whom gave you this info, but it is incorrect as far as I know. You should call directly. Best of luck to you..aims
