Question:
I have a technical problem.

Apparently I have 2 profiles. In the peer directory I am listed twice. One is an old profile. DOn't know how I got two. I can't figure out how to delete the one that isn't current. I've tried the "contact us - technical" and it says the page isn't available. When I go to "Edit your profile" it always takes me to the one that is current. I just can't figure out how to get there and delete it. Thanks!    — Denise B. (posted on June 27, 2003)

Send an email to: [email protected] With subject line: profile_erasure-Member ? Then explain what is happening in the body of your email. I know the tech department is generally overwhelmed, but I think if you use the exact subject line it will get routed to the right person automatically and they might get back to you quicker. What I was thinking was that the original profile - the one you don't want - must have been set up with a different password. If you can remember that, you can go into "update your profile", then under "general info" you can click on the red section about deleting your profile. I would definitely be careful that you are deleting the one you don't want retained. Maybe copy/paste your profile to a document to save it on your computer, in case the wrong one - or both of them - get deleted accidentally, and then you could start fresh. Good luck!
