Question:
Have you had Breast Enlargement and Bat wings Removed.
Want to hear from any one that has had Breast enlargement and Bat wings removed at the same time. How much pain was it? How long were you out of work? How long before back to normal. Was the Breast enlagement done through the nipple or in the crease? I am schuduled for 03-01-04 for both. I would love to hear any info. Jane open 03-03-03 256-150-140 — Jane T. Jane, I have had a breast reduction and it hurt. I don't know if you go
through as much having an enlargement. However when all was said and done
it was definately worth it. I am sure after I lose weight that i will be
wanting to have an enlargement.

Odd you said you already had a reduction and yep that was a doozie in the
paindept...but I too think I may need an enlargement after all these
years..who's ever imagine? LOL

Jane, I had breast augmentation (implants only) and brachioplasty (bat-wing
removal) at the same time this past July. I was amazed at the lack of
pain, actually. Granted, I have a high pain tolerance, and I did take my
Vicodin faithfully every 4 hours (even in the night), and it kept the pain
to a minimum...probably rated a 3-4 at the worst on a scale of 1-10, with
10 being the worst. My implants were done in the crease under the breasts.
Between the two procedures, the breasts were the worst.....I essentially
had no pain in the arms. Again, Vicodin does wonders, but you might as
well start right in on stool softeners a.m. and p.m. because Vicodin binds
most people up. I'd check with your surgeon also on this....my implants
were done under the muscles, which is preferable if you don't have much in
the boob department to begin with. If they put it on top of the muscles,
it's likely you will be able to see the whole shape of the implant (which I
didn't want)...unless you have desires to be a porn-star some time in the
future! LOL My surgeon told me beforehand that the one complaint he hears
most often is that women wish they'd gone bigger. I opted for a nice full
C-cup. Right after surgery and for about 2-3 weeks I was a large D-cup and
loved it....now that the swelling is gone I'm the C-cup that I asked for
and wish I'd gone with the D-cup! Email me at [email protected] if you have
any questions. One last thing. No one told me that with a simple
augmentation there was a risk of decreased nipple sensation. My surgery was
7 months ago and I still don't have any sensation, which is a real bummer.
I've done research now on the web, though, and they say it can take up to a
year for all the nerve endings to grow back and get back to normal...boy, I
