Question:
Has anyone heard of scerlosing?

Has anyone heard of a procedure called scerlosing of the pouch site opening? It is being done in my area and would like to know if anyone can give me some info on it. It is for post ops of at lease 1yr.    — mary christine (posted on March 11, 2004)

My doc and I have actually talked about this and I will be having it done next month. Basically he will inject something into my stoma to promote scar tissue to close me up a bit...he feels that the doc that did my dilitaion opened me up too much, so this will hopefully help with the losing of the last 28 lbs!
