The answer is so simple but sometimes so hard to do........stop eating them! Get them out of the house and stay away from places where they are prominent on the menu. Increase your protein consumption, drink more water, and add some protein drinks. I found myself slipping into consuming more carbs over the last few weeks (they're so much easier to eat than all that dense protein!) so I bought some really good nectar whey protein and I drink four per day. I mix a scoop of protein with 16 oz. crystal light in whatever flavor I happen to have on hand and it is YUMMY! I eat every two hours, dense protein only. It is definitely working for me. I'm 18 months out and I've lost three pounds this week and feel 1000% better. Good luck to you..........you can do this!

You can purchase "The South Beach Diet" book, it talks about the good and bad carbs. You don't need to detox from all carbs, just the bad ones. If you can't afford the book right now, you might want to take a notebook and pencil to a bookstore like Barnes & Noble and take notes from the book. The last half of the book is basically recipes, all of the good information is in the front 1/2. Good luck!!

The other day some posted on the main message board a 3 day plateau buster. It is basically meat and eggs. You as much as you need to fill up. I have done this type of thing in the past when my carb consumption got out of control and it has helped get rid of the craving. It can be a littl rough, but if you tough it out it can help. I am doing it again starting today. Good luck.
