I just read on the message board

How scared she was since having surgery and reading about people dying a year to a year an ahalf after surgery. I'm just 2 months post and still not feeling well,so this really scares me. Can anyone shed light on this.    — [Anonymous] (posted on November 1, 2001)

What post on the message board are you referring to? I tried to search for something like what you where describing & couldn't find anything. I'd like to read this post. I'm sure it's not something to be REALLY scared about. I believe death from wls is pretty rare. I know of alot of very long-term post-ops who are doing great. But please if you can, let me know the date of this post and the name of the poster so I know where to look. Thanks. And lots of luck to you in your recovery. I'm sure you'll do just fine. 2 months post is still early and it's normal to feel lousy. Make sure you're taking your vitamins & protein because being deficient will make you feel unwell. When in doubt check with your doc.
