What is the cottage cheese test to see if your stomach has stretched?

You take a measured amount of cottage cheese, say 2 cups, and then eat as much as you can until you feel full. Measure whatever is left, and subtract what you ate from it, and that should tell you your pouch size. My doc says not to worry about stretching the pouch unless you are consistently overeating. Stretching the stomach is not an easy thing to do, as they are designed to stretch normally anyway - like a muscle contracts and expands.
