Question:
This question is for BTC patients...

I AM APPROVED! I AM APPROVED! Boy that feels good saying that. I am so anxious now to get a date! Can anyone who has had surgery at BTC give me an approximate wait time from being approved by insurance to getting the date. They said it would go to the doctor and then scheduling but of course, I can't stand the wait. Just looking to see other experiences with this procedure. Thanks a bunch!    — Stephanie W. I was approved at the end of October 2002 and had my surgery on 12/23/02. I wanted my surgery prior to Christmas because of my job and I had to press for it. You will be so happy with BTC (Barix) it is a wonderful program. Best wishes

im one year post and my surgeon was Dr.Barbara from groveport ohio he is the best in my book and it only took 2 months from the time i got the ok to have it done and let me say i would do it again and it would be with the surgeon i stated.. i have lost 162 pounds so far yeahhhh for me and it will happen for you as well, good luck and god bless you.. rachel atkinson

had surgery 9/25/2002. so things may be different and different facilities may vary. I had surgery in Belvidere IL with BTC. Once I was approved I was offered a date on the schedule with in 2 weeks of my approval but had to give 30 days notice at work.

I WAS APPROVED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY ON JUNE 30TH AND I I GOT MY DATE 3 WEEKS AGO AND MY DATE IS DECEMBER 1ST. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED
