Question:
31 months post op. got pregnant 4.5 months post op, only have lost 105 lbs

i had vbg on feb 1999, i found out i was pregnant 4.5 months post op/i started 297 lbs, got preg at 242 lbs, lost 10 lbs during first trimester, and gained 12 lbs through the whole thing. had beautiful 8.1 lbs babyboy, healthy thank god. my problem is that now i weigh 193 lbs, and i cannot seem to lose another lb since december of 2000. i feel very out of control, feel like i can eat more, i dont want to have to go through a revision and i am scared of surgeries it took me 2 yrs to make up my mind about bvg, i did not have a choice of surgeries cause my doctor only procticed bvg. so now i am stuck like chuck. i would like to lose another 40 lbs, but i dont know what else to do. anyobody out there that has gone through the same, or some advise would help. thanks.,.    — christina C. I reaad recently, I thought I bookmarked the site but I did't, that 40% of women who get pregnant after a VBG (only) have their surgery disrupted....however, I think you did great loosing weight after your baby was born. 105 lbs is a *great* loss...if you are scared to revise, you may have to find contentment where you are. I am going to have Lap RNY and wanted to know if there are any woman that have gotten pregnant after the surgery? How was the health of you and the baby during?
