Question:
Has anyone had their surgery postponed or cancelled due to the SARS epidemic?

I was just thinking how lucky I was because it is approaching a year to my surgery date and last week in Canada all elective surgery was cancelled due to SARS. I would have been extremely upset if this had happened to me and I was wondering if this did affect anyone. If it has let me say that I feel for you and try to get through this little upset the best you can because you would not want to be in the hospital during this time anyway.    — UMMADUMMASS (posted on April 6, 2003)
