Question:
Does anyone have experience with Dr Charles Daniel Proctor of Georgia
Has anyone had surgery with Dr Proctor of Gainesville, Georgia? He has been associated with Dr Wittgrove (Carnie Wilson's surgeon)on Spotlight Health, but I can't find anyone who's actually been a patient. — Val D. (posted on May 17, 2001)

Sharon Robinson on this site had a dear friend who died following surgery
with Dr. Proctor. Look her up and find the story. My late husband and I
used to live in Gainesville. Beautiful area...sure do wish I could go back
to that part of life. Good luck.

Hi Val:
Dr. Proctor is going to perform my surgery on June 18th an Northeast
Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville GA. I wish I could tell you more
about him, but I have only met him at support group meetings. He seems to
be a very nice man and his wife attends the meetings as well. After my
surgery, I will let you know more about how he really is.

This answer is in response to the woman who used to live in Gainesville and
her friend died due to the surgery. I am sure that she had alot of medical
problems that caused her death. Not so much the surgery, but complications
due to surgery. If I thought Dr. Proctor wasn't competent enoungh to do my
surgery, I would go elsewhere.

I had surgery with Dr. Proctor in December 2003 and he was wonderful. My
surgery went perfectly and now three years and one hundred and ten pounds
later, I am grateful to him and his staff for changing my life.
