Question:
ways to enhance long term success- should we not get the sense of fullness?

I am 2 months post-op and am doing pretty well, I think. I have lost almost 50 pounds. I get in between 80-110 ounces of water everyday and usually 65 grams of protein (which needs to be increased soon). I was reading pouch rules for dummies. SHould we not get that uncomfortable sense of fullness when we eat? I usually don't, i always eat just enough and stop eating before I am full. B/C it was saying that fullness can eventually stretch your pouch overtime. Does anyone have thoughts on that? I just want to be successful with RNY longterm! thanks! :)<p> And is 2 ounces of chicken ok to eat for a meal at 2 months post-op? that's what i usually get in. I didn't know if that's too much, but i can handle that much, but no more.    — Lezlie Y. (posted on August 3, 2002)

I am just a week over 5 months out and still can't tolerate chicken, unless it's very juicy/not dry, it also has to be in very tiny pieces, but if you can handle it okay, then I see no problem, just make sure you chew, chew, chew!!congrats pn the great weight loss, I have lost 93 pounds and almost 60 inches!!! feels great!!!
