Question:
I am almost 6 months out of rny surgery, down 77 pounds.

I now have a large hernia around my belly button. It bothers me to bend-over, pickup things, cough, sneeze, etc. I seen my doc yesterday who told me I had to have it fixed as soon as they could get it scheduled. Within the next two weeks, I'm sure. He also wants to take the gall bladder if the tests come back positive for that. Has anyone had this so soon after wls? And what did you do to prepare for it and what about after the surgery. I just wanted to let you know that your doc could probably do a tummy tuck at the time that you have your surgery and it would be covered under your insurance....you may want to have him look into that. My cousin had to have emergency gall blatter surgery 3 mo post op and she is doing great...in fact she is tryign to stop loosing at this point. good luck to you! Cathie
