Question:
Is it okay to use the sugar free liquid flavorings like french vanilla and caramel?

I drink one cup of decafe every day and also have used the flavoring on my hot cereal. I am pre op and wondered about this. Also just got my notice in the mail that my paper work has been sent to the insurance. Now I am in the waiting game. I have Hometown health PPO. I sure hope I get approved. My wife and I use the sugar free syrups everyday in our coffee. We just make sure that there are no HIDDEN sugars like sugar alcohol. The one we use is made by TORANI. It has zero carbs, zero sugar, zero anything!!!! Check it out. I buy it at a discount store called SMART & FINAL or I get it at an import store at one of the malls, like COSTPLUS IMPORTS. It costs more at the import store but they have more choices in flavors. My personal favorite for coffee is hazelnut but my favorite one to put in my vanilla protein shake is raspberry. I put chipped ice in the blender and the protein powder and get it nice and thick then add the flavoring. It is like drinking a milkshake. If you like it real sweet, add Splenda!!!! Our doctor recommened it so I guess it's ok to use!!!! FROM: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS.

I drink a latte almost everyday made with skim milk and sugar free vanilla or caramel syrup. I even had to try the "light" syrup one day when the coffee shop I go to was out of the sugar free flavor. The "light" syrup had 2 grams of sugar and it did not make me dump. Enjoy!!

I use the Torani sugar-free syrups too. I love them! Especially the coconut. I buy my online at www.86sugar.com , which is a site that sells only sugar-free products. Their prices are good, but their customer service is hit-or-miss. I'll still use them, though!

The DaVinci sugar free syrups are also very good and can be ordered from the site someone already posted. Plus they're a bit less expensive.
