Question:
I have large red painful bumps under my arm. They feel like blisters...

This is an embarrasing question for me to ask, but... I have these red painful bumps under my arm. They are located either where my bra strap goes, on my side, or on the inside of my upper arm. They feel and look like blisters. I have extremely good hygene habits too. Are these pimples?? Or are they blisters?? It hurts when my arms rub against my body. As a MO person, I have rather large upper arm area. They range in size too. Sometimes, they are small and very numerous, (like a rash). Sometimes, they are huge, like a big blister, and is sore around the bump as well. (Dime size, or even Nickel size). Nothing I do makes them go away. Any suggestions? Am I the only one? Thank you.    — [Anonymous] (posted on May 13, 2001)

I have had the same problem. I was paranoid it was breast cancer. Went to the doctor and was told it was just clogged sweat glands. Nothing can help but warm compresses. I hope this helps.

I also have the same problem. Sometimes using deodorant without the anti-persperant helps. Hope this was some help.

It sounds liek a case of the shingles. They run along nerve lines and can spread to the side of the face, lower back and along the lower rib cage and side.It is viral and your doctor can give you something to relieve the pain of outbreak. You should see your doctor and find out what is causing the blisters. It could be a number of things
