Is there any one post op 5 years pluss. I know of a lady who is 5 years post

She has multiple problems and complications being in and out of the hospital many times. Can any one 5 years or more post op..Please let us know how you are doing now...Weight gain or loss...Whats your life style like. Thanks    — christina L. (posted on January 13, 2003)

The only person I have seen that is 5 years post op (I am sure there are more) is Craig Thompson (Dallas, TX) You can go read his profile and email him. He is now a professional musician and doing GREAT.

I'm 8 yrs post-op, distal RNY. I'm not perfect, but I'm good. Better than pre-op by miles. I got older (ha ha), so there are THOSE issues. I follow a specific regimen to keep me going in the right direction.
